We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Production Business Finance team at Porvoo. In this role, you will work mainly for Renewables Production, but also partly in Oil Production and thus learn fast about both sides of Neste’s business.

We have a team of 8 experts working in the Production Business Finance team. Our team is responsible for performance analysis of OP Production entity, financial rolling forecasting, long-term planning, development of business finance related processes and various ad-hoc analyses and tasks.

Your part in Neste journey

In this role, you will

• Act as a focal business finance point of contact in the intersection of Oil Products and Renewable Products related to the Porvoo HVO production & blending related services and co-processing related financial follow-up, reporting tasks and development
• Give business finance support for Renewable Products Porvoo production units and Oil Products Production
• Execute cost reporting to stakeholders, especially for Renewable Products Units at Porvoo
• Execute, report and control of invoicing orders and forecasts (re-invoicing of OP Production entities and services as part of the service model)
• Participate in development projects as business finance subject matter expert and support the Senior Finance Business Partner to further develop the Business Partner function
• Develop reporting with various tools (PowerBI, MS Office Tools, Google Tools)
• Support global Renewable Products Business Finance function with process improvements and digitalization
• Support in annual strategy and performance planning processes
• Analyze forecasts and cost estimates and prepare ad-hoc analyses
• Secure, monitor and develop financial processes including financial forecasting and cost estimation

You will work in Neste Business Finance function and closely with Oil Products and Renewable Products Production key stakeholders and counterparts to support decision-making with reliable and timely financial reporting & analysis.

Keys to success in this role

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

• Master or Bachelor level Degree in Finance or other similar, relevant university level degree
• Three years of experience in business or financial controlling, preferably in process industry
• Financial modelling and analyzing skills
• Good IT skills (office tools, HFM & Hyperion Planning, reporting tools MS PowerBI, SAP BO)
• Proactive mindset, willingness to continuously develop and improve

We also value

• SAP ERP knowledge, especially SAP FICO
• Background in performance improvement program reporting
• Proactive and analytical way of working
• Good co-operation skills and flexibility
• Empathy and taking also others’ viewpoints into account
