We are looking for a Business Analyst, Procurement to the Metso Outotec Business Analytics team.

Purpose of the role

Enabling a high performing procurement organization through provision of transparent and compelling analytics

Key accountabilities and responsibilities 

• Maintains and governs procurement spend and savings reporting

• Develops procurement KPI structures on MO group level, supports in identifying opportunities and actions for continuous improvement by means of analysis of performance and internal KPI data

• Supports Indirect procurement analytics and develops category visibility 

• Mastering procurement analytics tools, acts as super user and actively seeks to improve utilization of self-serving analytics across the procurement network

• Performs thorough procurement business analysis 

• Actively strives for best practice / continuous process improvement and drives development to improve efficiency

• Together with Supply Chain Analyst, identifies early warning indicators for supply market risk (disruptions, increasing prices, capacity constraints) and defines implications on organization’s supply chains

• Together with Data Analysts, evaluates data need and translates data into effective, clear and compelling reports and visualizations to support procurement strategy

• Maintain relationship with respective stakeholders, ensuring internal customer satisfaction as well as taking ownership and leading corrective actions

• Working with internal business customers to increase data and analytics literacy

• Contribute to the strategy and vision for the business analytics department

Requirements

• High level of competence with Microsoft office (expert level in MS Excel) and SAP MM

• Excellent analytical skills (cost comparisons, trend analysis, pivots, charting), comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data. Ability to handle large amounts of data while maintaining perspective of the big picture

• Sievo, SAP S4H and Power BI know how is a plus

• Good understanding of procurement fundamentals

• Driving for results, highly self-directed, ability to work independently with good team working and cooperation skills. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with senior management

• A natural interest in state-of-the-art technological developments, advanced analytics know how is a plus

• Creativity to find new solutions in a developing environment

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Be successfully able to work with others in a matrix from a range of cultures within a diverse environment
