Broadcast Solutions Nordic Oy is looking for an electronics/IT technician or engineer.

If the latest media technologies, large AV/IT-infrastructure and close customer collaboration are on your checklist, look no further. We will introduce whole broadcasting world to you.

Who we are:

Broadcast Solutions offers its clients services and products in all areas of broadcasting, media production, content creation and distribution. We are one of the largest system integrators in Europe with a total of 200 employees globally. In Finland our team consists of 20 colleagues in our office in Pasila, Helsinki.

Our services and products speak for our professionalism. In Finland you can find technologies built by us enabling TV- and radio productions for example the YLE, Finnish broadcasting company.

Live sports and events are in the center of our vision. In Finland we are well known for our part of the Telia Liiga ice hockey broadcasts or the state-of-the-art multimedia infrastructure at Nokia Arena in Tampere.

Expectations:

You may be anything between junior candidate with limited experience to a seasoned veteran – what matters the most is a can-do attitude and interest for audiovisual production technologies. Ideally you would have background in technical planning and realization (e.g., IT technician, Electronics,), as one of your daily tasks is to manage technical implementations in our customer projects.

As a small group of 20 people, we value very much independent and active approach to project work. You should be able to communicate in English with ease, Finnish and Swedish are considered plusses.

You will surely succeed as our broadcast technician if you have:

• A can-do attitude and you want to get things done.
• A keen mind for learning new things and meeting new people.
• Interest (prior experience not necessary) for television, radio, multimedia and AV productions and ability to bring your technical skills to audiovisual productions, live IP media and broadcasting.
• Technical education background of either Electronics, IT, Telecom or Broadcast technologies (for example BSc, MSc). You can be Fresh Graduate or in the final stages of your studies.

We value your presence at the offices and would like to see you more face to face than online. But we are not inflexible when it comes to remote working.
