Vattenfall has launched a new brand in 2018 with a purpose to make fossil free living within a generation possible. This is not only a brand transformation but has become a focus throughout the organization, affecting everything from communication to our way of working and business decisions. Our new brand is to be present in every touchpoint towards our consumers, of course affecting every part of our communication. This brand transformation has been rolled out in all Vattenfall’s markets and in Finland it is providing us with great opportunities.

Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is accelerating towards a future with the connected energy landscape, new solutions, empowered customers and disruptive competitors. We have very high ambitions going forward and will continue to be a leader through innovation, customer focused solutions and signature customer experiences.

We have implemented an agile structure, governance and way of working - a major shift in becoming even more fleet-footed and to put the customer in the center of everything we do. Our new agile governance entails driving business and people leadership separately from each other. This will allow each responsibility to be driven with full focus and independence in order to maximize benefits for business, competence and people.

All daily work in Consumer Sales Nordic is carried out in cross-functional scrum teams. Ensuring we are in the forefront in each competence area all employees will belong to a chapter i.e. center of excellence. (Chapters are groups of functional competences that will share best practices and develop their expertise).

We are now looking for a skilled and experienced marketing communication specialist to be a member of our Nordic Brand Positioning team, with a belonging to our Brand Communication and Content Creators Competence Chapter.

In the Nordic Brand Positioning team, we strive to bring our Brand strategy and Content marketing strategy all the way into actions that support our sales and business. You will be a driving force in positioning Vattenfall in the Finnish market and working closely with both colleagues in Finland and Sweden.

You will be working within these areas:

  • Marketing communication planning, project management and execution
  • Brand Management
  • Content Marketing Management
  • Content publishing /PR
  • Asset production and relevant tools
  • Social Media Management

Your background and profile:

You will need relevant education and work experience within the marketing communication field, with experience of larger campaigns as well as content marketing. You are experienced in cooperating with agencies in both collaboration and writing briefs and buying media.

You will need to have Finnish as a native language and be fluent in English

We use a data data-driven approach to creative work and thus an understanding for how different digital tools enable our decision-making and our content creation work is necessary.

You are proactive, driven and open to change and use your strong interpersonal skills to build trustworthy relationships and effective interfaces. You are hands-on, skilled in writing, solution-oriented, and you energize your environment.

Location is Helsinki, including travels to Stockholm and elsewhere will occur regularly.
