4Pharma is a well-established contract research organization providing medical research services. Our core business areas include biostatistics, clinical data management, medical writing and information technology. We are expanding our operations and therefore seek a new colleague to join our team in Helsinki, Finland.
Biostatistician / Junior biostatistician
Responsibilities and tasks
Tasks will be tailored based on candidate profile. Statistician is involved in e.g. study design, development of statistical analysis plans, specifications of analysis datasets, performing and reviewing statistical programming, performing statistical analyses, documenting and interpreting the results with our customers. Tasks may also include internal process development and business development tasks.
You will be a part of our experienced Statistics team and will work closely with both internal colleagues and our customers. Location in (central) Helsinki, Finland. Role and title will be discussed based on your profile.
You have a MSc or an equivalent degree in relevant statistics, computer science or natural science discipline. Previous experience in working with clinical trials/designed experiments or in pharmaceutical/CRO sectors is highly appreciated. However, recently graduated individuals will also be considered.
You have solid experience of statistical programming (using SAS or R, preferably some experience in both). You are familiar with statistical methodologies used in clinical trials. The emerge of using real world datasets requires also epidemiologic methodologies.
Excellent skills in both written and spoken English are needed. Finnish language skills are an advantage. As a person, you are thorough, happy to take on responsibilities, proactive, flexible and enjoy working in a team. You are focused on quality and always have customer perspective on the top of your mind.
