Role? We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our Core Services & Integrations team. Our role is to develop centralised services to support business verticals on their road to success. As we are in the beginning of an architecture renewal of the platform, it’s more than a great timing to hop on!
Requirements? Experience in backend environments, integrations, APIs and databases. Ability to work in a team, yet independently.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?
Responsibilities & projects
As a Backend Developer you will focus on the platform of core services and integrations. Team is responsible for multiple projects with different technologies and approaches, so you enjoy jumping from a sandbox to another and getting variation to your everyday work.
The so called weapons available include (but are not limited to) NodeJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, PHP, AWS and Docker. For basic graphical interfaces at our maintenance, we use Vue.js. You may have some other techs on your belt and we are happy to evaluate them.
Our team is spread across Finland and we are very flexible of the location of your headquarters (as long as it's in Finland/The Nordics or you have a plan to move to Finland). You have also a possibility to work at wonderful office premises right in the very heart of Helsinki.
Together we will continuously develop all aspects of our daily work and your opinions are heard. By teaching each other new tricks, our team will thrive!

WHO ARE YOU?
Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL / MySQL).
Fluency in English, as it is our company language.

These will be seen as a strong plus (but not mandatory):
Experience with cloud based (AWS) and Linux based environments
Experience with development tools such as: Git, JIRA, Confluence
Experience in Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration process and tools
