We are now looking for a research-oriented Automation Engineer for our R&D, Process Development and Control & Monitoring team.

As an Automation Engineer you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining control and monitoring systems for our bench and pilot equipment. In addition, your work includes the development and support of data communication systems between customers and Kemira.

What you need:

  • Degree (BSc/MSc) in automation, control engineering or a similar discipline
  • Experience in process automation, remote monitoring systems and programming skills from PLC (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff)
  • Experience in online measuring technologies, instrumentation and project management is a benefit
  • Innovative and open mindset with hands-on attitude
  • Good communication skills in English, preferably also in Finnish
