Job Description

We are now looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Automation team in Tampere.

The automation team is responsible for product development and maintenance of control systems and monitoring and data visualization systems for crushing and screening equipment. These machines work in harsh environment, which gives high demand for control system endurance, quality, reliability and usability. Your main responsibility is to design and maintain Metrics Portal and connectivity solutions for control systems. This includes designing the functionality, system testing and supervision of subcontracting. You will also handle product documentation and support to internal interest groups. Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for variable special projects. 

You will work closely with your team members and both internal and external stakeholders globally.


To Succeed

To succeed in this role, you should already have some previous work experience in IoT and/or in connectivity related to machine automation. We value knowledge in software development and data communications. Knowledge of project management, programming, machine safety and instrumentation is an advantage.

You have a relevant degree in the field of automation, software or equivalent. You have fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Finnish and English. You are a solution-oriented and proactive problem-solver with independent work style and good collaboration skills.
