Associates and Senior Associates to Transaction Services

We are looking for junior team members to join our Transaction Services group within our Advisory unit. As an Associate you have recently graduated from university and have gained experience in accounting through summer jobs or internships. Senior Associates have had approximately two to three years of recent accounting, controller or audit work experience either in industry or a professional accountancy firm.

Our team specialises in financial due diligence services and works closely with our Corporate Finance, Deals Strategy and M&A Integrations & Separations teams across the deal continuum. Our clients include private equity houses, domestic and international corporates as well as small, owner managed businesses. These clients have varying needs but share one common view and that is an expectation that we will deliver high quality services to them. Consequently the quality and experience of our Transaction Services team is paramount.

You would join our financial due diligence teams in analysing target companies’ historical trading activities, assets and liabilities, cash flows and working capital development and business plans. Although a large proportion of our work is based in Finland our teams also have the opportunity to work internationally on large cross border engagements.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an M. Sc. degree in accounting or then finance with a strong accounting background.
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership coupled with a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
  • Be a dedicated team player with excellent communicational and client-facing skills.
  • Be an analytical and structured problem-solver with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills. The ability to use Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau or other data analytics and visualisation tools is an advantage.
  • Fluency in professional Finnish and English is essential with strong Swedish skills being a distinct advantage.
