Summary of role

This is a great opportunity to have a lead role in a dynamic, rapidly-growing, global business specialising in sustainability services and solutions, founded on the belief that sustainable business practices are at the heart of long-term commercial success.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of experience in Corporate Services, with a specific focus on sustainability and an emphasis on one or more of the following: strategy and governance, supply chain and operations, sustainable products and services, transactions and finance and/or sustainable cities and environments. Experience in multi-site and multinational M&A transactions or provision of corporate level sustainability services is required. The candidate will support the development of sustainability services, working closely with the Managing Director and Anthesis’ global sustainability professionals. The candidate will also act as project delivery lead, managing various tasks and interacting directly with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) The role requires strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem solving and sustainable solutions finding. The development of the new sustainability service offering will support a strong existing Transaction and Corporate Services business.

The Associate Director will work with the Managing Director and will be expected to contribute to the leadership of the company through direct involvement in strategic planning, recruitment, key account management, identification of opportunities and delivery of projects. The role will include close interaction with global colleagues and the development of new service lines in the Finland and wider Nordic business.

Key requirements

  • Native or fluent in Finnish and/or Swedish and English;
  • Relevant University Degree;
  • At least 15 years of experience in sustainability services for financial, legal and global industrial clients;
  • Strong track record in project delivery and client management;
  • Recognized sustainability professional with established network.
