We are now looking for an Assistant to join our Tax and IP teams in Helsinki.
Duties & responsibilities
As an Assistant you will work in a challenging but rewarding position where you have the opportunity to develop your skills. By joining a truly international firm, you will also work closely with your international colleagues especially from the Nordics and UK. Your duties as an assistant include, for example, assisting our lawyers in various assignments; drafting documents and presentations; communicating with clients; authorities and our international offices; meeting, seminar and travel arrangements; various trademarks related tasks; invoicing and other administrative tasks. In this position, you also have a possibility to specialise in the field of trademarks.
You can either be at the early stages of your career or you can have several years of experience from an assistant role – it is your attitude we value the most. You have a relevant educational background, e.g. in University of applied sciences ("tradenomi"). Excellent communication skills in Finnish and in English are required in this role. We consider previous experience in trademarks and interest in the field of business law as an advantage. In addition, our ideal candidate is able to demonstrate:
- service-minded attitude determined to deliver high quality administrative support;
- keen eye for details;
- ability to work under pressure;
- ability to manage several projects simultaneously;
- excellent IT skills including eg. good command of Microsoft Office tools; and
- a good sense of humor – we are serious about business but we truly believe that working should be fun!

This is a fixed term position covering for family leave and is expected to last until autumn 2020 with the possibility of extension.
