We are looking for a productive Assistant Office Manager for a fixed-term position at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Helsinki. You will be part of a dynamic administration team, performing tasks related to Finland’s upcoming EU Presidency with precision and efficiency. The employment will begin in mid-June and last approximately until the end of September 2019.
Key responsibilities and tasks
• Travel arrangements and logistics
• Communication with travel agencies and international guests
• Administrative tasks
• Calendar arrangements
• Event organizing
Preferred background and qualifications• Suitable educational background (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) • Relevant working experience, knowledge of administrative tasks is a great benefit • Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish are required, both written and spoken

The embassy is located on the 5th floor of a building in the centre of Helsinki. In principle, we work in a flexible way, in open office spaces, on individual tablets. The team at the embassy normally consists of 8 members: Ambassador, Deputy Head of Mission, Innovation and Trade Officer, Circular Economy Project Officer, Communications Officer, Operational Manager, Office Manager and Driver/handyman.
