In your role you will work with financial reporting and administration of CapMan’s real estate funds and real estate investments in Finland and other Nordic countries. You will be part of the highly skilled CapMan Real Estate finance team with over 20 professionals. Your location will be in our Jyväskylä office but in your role, you have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across all of the CapMan locations.
The Role
The Assistant controller will have a versatile role with the financial management and reporting of real estate investments.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Financial management & administration, lease administration and financial reporting of real estate investments and companies
Assistance in consolidation and group reporting of real estate investments
Management reporting of real estate investments
Assistance in Investor reporting of real estate investments
Supporting investment and asset management teams in property acquisition and disposal processes
Providing decision-making support to investment and asset management teams to plan and execute value creation initiatives
Participation in developing CapMan Real Estate’s reporting processes and systems and other financial administration processes
You may have recently graduated or about to graduate with a degree in accounting or have some years of relevant work experience behind. As the playground is international, you need to be able to work both in Finnish and English. You have an eye for detail and at the same time you are able to see the big picture. We value hands-on attitude and good problem-solving skills as well as drive and willingness to continuously learn new things. At times things may get hectic, therefore the ability to stay focused and prioritize will be needed.
The following skills, competencies and experience will help you to succeed in the role:
Knowledge and experience from financial accounting and reporting
Understanding on consolidated financial statements and group reporting
Understanding of relevant GAAPs (Finnish GAAP and IFRS)
Experience in accounting information and reporting systems
