Asset Manager

Mrec Investment Management Oy (Mrec IM), an independent real estate investment and asset management company, is now looking for an Asset Manager to support their growth! 

As an Asset Manager you’ll get to work together with a focused team of experienced real estate professionals and report directly to the CEO of the Mrec Investment Management Oy. In this position you’ll be responsible for the asset management operations and especially leasing tasks, in addition to business planning and implementation of the business plans in selected assets. You will also be actively involved in the planning and execution of new real estate development projects. More specifically you will be involved in tasks such as sourcing sites and tenants, acquiring new customers, and maintaining existing relationships. The properties you will be working with are key transportation and industrial hubs.  The hubs are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area, Tampere, and Turku, but your specific responsibilities for these locations will be agreed upon separately with Mrec IM. 

The ideal candidate for the position has previous experience from the real estate sector for a minimum of a couple of years. You should be already familiar with for example lease agreement documentation and the supporting calculations and analyses. You will be well-prepared for this role if you are also self-motivated, analytical, and solution-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team. You are used to managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling schedules and budgets. In addition you want to stay informed about the general market situation, competitors, the increased focus on ESG, and seek new opportunities to improve processes.

We expect you to have: 

• A relevant bachelor’s or a master’s degree (for example technical / real estate or business-related degree)
• Previous experience in the real estate industry for a minimum of a couple of years. You may have experience, for example in leasing, property management or project development
• Solid skills in using MS Office tools, especially Excel
• A full working proficiency in English and Finnish  
• Willingness to travel

 We consider as additional assets:

• Other language skills, such as Swedish 
• Earlier experience from logistic properties
• A driver’s license and access to a car

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, in which you will be employed directly to Mrec IM. The ideal starting date for the position is as soon as possible. Mrec IM’s office is located in the heart of Helsinki and we hope you are able to work primarily at the office. The role may also include traveling.
