Area Sales Manager

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join the Export Sales team at ABB Oy, Distribution Solutions Business Line in Vaasa. In this position, you will execute agreed actions to ensure that the supply side sales targets are met in the allocated countries.

Your responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for DA Service business in responsible region
  • Proactively engage market in renewing installed base of ABB relays
  • Systemically plan promotion events and trainings for customers and partners
  • Ensuring competence transfer to the local ABB organization and our customers
  • Reporting up to date sales and marketing status and plan
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships
  • Developing new market opportunities in the designated territory
  • Preparing offers and ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers
  • Providing market feedback to company
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • A good knowledge of power distribution systems as well as protection and control products
  • Customer-oriented, active team player
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent English. Other language skills are an advantage.
  • High standards of integrity
  • Ideally you have International B2B business experience
  • Experience in ABB Relay or Service products is seen as an advantage
  • Multi-lingual and Multi-cultural business experience is considered as a benefit
