IT unit has a central role in driving the digitalization and providing services for all business units of Business Finland. We also take care and secure that IT services and tools are every day available for our colleagues and thousands of Business Finland’s customers.

Your future manager Mr. Pekka Pajuoja (Senior Director, IT Architecture and Systems), describes your responsibility area as follows.

YOUR TASK

This is a unique opportunity in Business Finland to work with modern applications and services. In this role you will:

• Be responsible for support and development for designated applications and services as a technical product owner
• Be responsible of handling and analyzing technical change requests and development proposals as well as planning their acceptance testing and implementation
• Create required specifications and documentation of the changes
• Give support and training to end users and to internal champion network depending on the application
• Participate in solving problems and errors by evaluating the impact and deciding the required corrections with other IT team members as well as the supplier support and development teams
• Guide and manage the suppliers support and development work
• Depending on your competence, possibly act as a project manager for small projects if needed.

You will work closely with our architects as well as other IT and other team members. On the cross-function level you will work closely with business owners to prioritize business needs and ensure that their planned targets will be met and the aimed benefits are realized.

In order to succeed with us, we hope that you:

• Love to serve our end users in their everyday life
• Know how to build and maintain successful cooperation with suppliers, influence and motivate our partners to work on a common challenges and renewal
• Pay attention to documentation, understand how to follow the progress of your and others work, how to communicate targets and results
• Have relevant technical education/background in IT and at least two years of experience in similar tasks
• Are familiar with Confluence Wiki and Jira environments
• Are fluent in spoken and written Finnish and English.

Knowhow of case and document management and/or identity management solutions is a benefit. We also appreciate knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Azure environments.
