API Hackatemia – plan and code a winning API solution!
Are you interested in learning how to plan or code a winning API solution that creates business value? Participate in Digia’s API Hackatemia, a four-nights event with Digia’s API gurus! We give you tools and support so you and your team can plan and execute an API solution to a real-life business challenge. You only need interest towards the business possibilities of APIs and perhaps some background from programming or service design!
Digia API Hackatemia is a training event free of charge. Participating experts and students form teams and generate a solution to a current business challenge using API technologies and methods. Outcome of the teamwork can, for example, be a social media chatbot for customer service, AI solution to decrease food wastage or an interface for sharing product information. We are also looking for new talents to join Digia’s API team. This is an opportunity to get hired by Digia. API Hackatemia is held at Digia’s office in Helsinki on four nights, 5.-6. and 12.-13.2.2019.
Read more about API Hackatemia in here! Also check out some outcomes and participants' comments from last year or read our blog text about why to create an API strategy (in Finnish).
We welcome all applicants who are interested in the opportunities of open interfaces or API solutions. For example, you might be searching for some new ideas for your current job, interesting work opportunities, thesis topic or an internship. We want to hear about you, if you are keen to put your service design knowledge or programming skills into practice. Backgrounds from IT, industrial engineering or business are beneficial, but most important is your interest in IT and digitalization. Experience in programming is not a must, as long you are willing to come up with fresh ideas to current business challenges.
