Your role 


The Fortum Corporate Strategy is responsible for the group strategy, designing growth strategies, leading and supporting various strategic initiatives and finding opportunities to operate more efficiently. We are now looking for a Strategy Analyst to join the strategy team in the head office in Espoo, Finland.

In this role you will both work in projects of strategic importance for Fortum and/or within a division, delivering analysis and material to be used in strategy definition and decision making. You will identify and solve complex business problems and develop business cases and modeling. You will also integrate inputs from a number of individuals and units/functions and interact closely with strategy or business development and other units within divisions.

Your qualifications 


As a person you have high ambition and drive, solid business-relevant financial and numerical analysis skills as well as a keen sense of quality and attention to detail. You have strong collaboration skills, ability to quickly learn and understand, as well as ability for conceptual thinking and structuring complex processes. You also have the ability to make high impact presentations.

You have an academic degree in engineering and/or finance/economics with excellent academic performance and 0-2 years of working experience. Experience from investment banking or management consulting is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.

Fluent English is a must and skills in any of the other languages of Fortum’s operating countries is a plus.
