ANALYST, M&A

In this business-critical role, you will be a key player in our M&A team in helping with all aspects related to acquisitions and divestments. You have the chance to influence the execution of our strategy and leave your mark on the development of our M&A function. This position is an excellent viewpoint to the whole Lindström group.

In this role, you will take responsibility for creating different financial models, conducting valuations and market & business analyses. You will participate in due diligences and creating business case presentations to the Lindström Group’s management. You will also assist in creating and maintaining a pipeline of strategic prospects and support with execution of acquisition and integration projects. You will work collaboratively with the senior management of Lindström and prospective businesses. Your location will be in our head office at Kalasatama, Helsinki, but some travelling could be required. It is important that you have the ability to create trust and build relationships within the company at all levels. You will be working in an international and multicultural environment which requires a proactive and flexible approach in projects.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Master’s degree (or close to graduation) in finance, engineering, or related field with excellent academic track record
• Relevant work experience from corporate acquisitions e.g. from an investment bank, management consulting or corporate environment
• Good understanding of valuations and market & company analysis
• Strategic and analytical mindset with focus on details and figures and an ability to synthesize broad amount of information into actionable information.
• Ability to quickly spot issues and develop a recommended approach
• Ability to take initiative and get things done
• Strong skills in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create both visually and verbally engaging reports, reviews and recommendations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent oral and written English
