As our current employee moves to a new role within our finance team we are looking for a new trustworthy and detail-oriented

Accounts Payable Specialist

to join our troops in Tampere, Finland. The specialist will join the finance team full of energetic professionals working in international environment. The work will consist verifying purchase invoices and matching them with purchase orders, coding the correct GL account and VAT code as well as managing the internal cost centers. You will follow up on invoice trail to make sure the invoices are paid on time. This position gives opportunity to work in close co-operation throughout the company from sourcing to sales. The Accounts Payable Specialist has also the opportunity to develop the position according to their skills and ambitions.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Understanding of accounting
  • Accuracy and understanding of numbers
  • Capability to carry the ownership of whole accounts payable area
  • Enthusiasm to perform and develop daily processes
  • Previous working experience in accounts payable or other accounting position
  • Organized working style and strong communications skills
  • Good IT skills and willingness to learn new tools and systems, previous experience from Netsuite is seen as a benefit
  • Fluent both in English and Finnish
  • Suitable educational background
