Accounts Payable key user / Subject Matter Expert

Description of the position

Are you a development-oriented financial professional with an open mind and a desire to work in an international environment? Orion is looking for an accounts payable key user for a permanent position in the invoice-to-pay process. The successful applicant will work for the first two years in the Future 2025 programme as a Subject Matter Expert. After the programme, the person will move on to become a global key user for the invoice-to-pay process in the finance department. The position is located in Espoo, Finland.

Your main responsibilities include

• Participation in the implementation of the new purchase invoice programme as part of the Future 2025 programme. Tasks will include development of processes and the control environment, system testing, development of guidelines and process descriptions.


• Providing end-users with guidance and troubleshooting


• Ensuring process functionality in foreign subsidiaries


• Continuous process development and maintenance beyond Future 2025


• Participation in the ongoing work of the invoice-to-pay process after Future 2025

Description of unit

You will work in the Future 2025 Program organization that consists of multitalented professionals who have expertise in their own functions. You will work together cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition and the program goals are achieved.

Future 2025 is Orion’s corporate wide program reporting to CEO and planned for years 2021-2023. It aims to transform business processes and the ways of working at Orion. The program is supported by the implementation of new IT systems and tools including a full renewal of the current ERP. As a result, we aim to increase productivity, to have better end-to-end transparency and to become a data driven company.

After the project you will be a member of the Finance and Control function that is responsible for providing financial reporting and statutory compliance for Orion Group and its 36 subsidiaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent


• More than five years’ experience in an invoice-to-pay process in an international environment


• Experience in process development and project work


• Fluency in Finnish and English. The working language of the Future 2025 programme is English


• Good ability to work under pressure, in a structured manner and in a team


• Self-motivated and innovative attitude to process development

Previous experience in an SAP environment and a modern purchase invoice management system (e.g. OpenText Vendor Invoice Management) would be an advantage.
