Nordic Morning Group Oyj is developing their accounting process and establishing a new Accounting Manager role to lead the Shared Accounting Services team in Helsinki.
You will be responsible for leading Nordic Morning Group Shared Accounting Services with five direct reports. Shared Accounting Services supports several business areas and legal entities in Finland and Sweden. You will report to the Group CFO.
You will lead the compilation and preparation of accounting and financial reporting activities according to the Group schedules. Naturally you will lead and monitor preparation of the statutory financial statements and coordinate the external audit. You will participate in preparing the consolidated financial statements together with the Group Controller. In addition, you will be in charge of the Shared Accounting Services team competence development, while supporting them to meet set targets.
You will manage all accounting processes and you regard developing these processes as natural part of the role and have a proactive way of working. You will have a key role in change management in accounting related processes as the Group is now starting to implement a new common ERP platform.
You have a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance. Typically a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in Accounting Shared Services center or similar set-up and a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience from a managerial role. You have at least basic knowledge of IFRS. Moreover, you have good command of different systems and tools. Preferably, you are fluent in both written and spoken Finnish/English language, Swedish is an advantage.
