Ticketmaster Suomi is looking for an Accounting Manager to be responsible for the main accounting of the company. In this task, you will be able to jump into the first steps of Ticketmaster’s new planned Nordic Regional Finance team. In your role you will manage and support Ticketmaster Suomi’s goal to produce efficient and service-oriented financial management that genuinely supports business. This is a full-time permanent employment and start date by agreement.
In your role as Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the overall accounting of the company in accordance with processes and operating models. Your responsibilities include accounting and balance sheet breakdowns, financial statements and monthly closings for general accounting, accounting reconciliations, expense accruals, balance sheet analysis and preparing of tax returns. You make sure that the main accounts are in order and that the data is reported correctly. You produce reports and statistics for use by Business Controllers and authorities. You work closely with Regional and Local Finance team members developing and managing the best processes and procedures in the Local Finance team. You will be part of an international network of Finance Specialist at Ticketmaster Nordic, with a wide range of competent people. The Accounting Manager reports to the Director, Finance.
In this position, you need a strong understanding and experience of accounting, possibly of auditing, as well as experience as an Accounting Manager. You are proficient in accounting and eager to learn new technology and finance systems. You are hands-on person, ready to solve operational issues. You are structured and eager to continuously develop processes and working methods.
As a person you are self-motivating, proactive and take initiative to get things done.
Previous job-experiences from ticketing, live-music, sports or alike will be your advantage, but not necessary.
In addition to the features listed above, we require you to
- Have an appropriate graduate degree in financial management (minimum BBA)
- Extensive understanding of accounting as well as several years of experience in general accounting tasks and IFRS, experience of US GAAP is an advantage
- Strong professional English language skills as well as Fluent Finnish
- Be a self-starter and possess strong analytical skills, willing to solve perceived problems and develop processes
- Be comfortable with multi-tasking and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities
- Experience in tax returns
- Good interaction skills and service spirit
- Good IT skills e.g. financial management systems, Excel.
