Air Liquide is now looking for a service minded and flexible Accounting Manager to be based in Oulu. You will be responsible for all accounting activities in Finland, reporting to the Nordic Shared Service Centre Manager based in Malmö. This means, for example, preparing financial statements, analyzing and presenting Profit & Loss statement and handling investment processes i.e fixed asset accounting. In addition you are responsible for insurance, preparing statistics and coordinating audits for Finland.
As Accounting Manager you will support by answering questions from the business and by backing up for your Nordic Accounting colleagues when needed. This means you will be a part of a strong team and have the opportunity to develop and learn more about the accounting processes in the different Nordic countries. You will also be able to participate in different business projects where your expertise will be highly valued.
To be successful in this role you have a university degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics and at least five years relevant work experience. It is essential that you have good knowledge of Finnish accounting and tax regulation, can prepare annual reports independently and have experience from working in SAP. In addition you are an advanced Excel user who can stay focused and detail oriented also during hectic work periods.
As a person you have an analytical mindset and you enjoy working in a structured way. However, since Air Liquide is constantly developing, it is important that you are comfortable working in a changing environment and have the ability to adapt and be flexible when needed. You are also a strong communicator and an active listener. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in a transversal team where video calls is an important communication tool.
We believe you have an eye for efficiency improvements and when you are up and running in your role we expect that you will be excited about suggesting improvements and taking initiatives in order to make our processes leaner.
