We are now looking for Accounting Assistant to our customer in Tampere (as a service).

Our customer is a world leading known company in cloud-based data solutions field and they serve their customers worldwide.

The Accounting Assistant is an individual contributor in the Finance & Accounting department reporting to Senior Manager, Finance and will be responsible for process and reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, bills and employee reimbursements.

Accounting Assistant also ensures that files are complete and maintained as required and assists other accounting personnel. Part of the duty is assisting with the month end processes.

The person in this position works closely and collaboratively with the operations departments, as well as other Finance team members.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Duties regarding accounts payable & accounts receivable ledger
  • Purchase invoice entries
  • Assisting Revenue Accountants on customer invoicing, debt collections and on both internal and external reporting requirements
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Daily usage of accounting systems (OpenAir, NetSuite, M-Files)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in accounting and/or 1-2 years’ work experience of operative accounting tasks
  • Proficient user in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English
