ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an accountant to join our BDO Business Services & Outsourcing team. In this role you will participate in diverse and interesting projects together with the professionals of BDO Finland, our Nordic colleagues and the global network.

Your responsibilities

Your key duties involve accounting and reporting to assigned clients, reconciling account balances, compliance work (such as monthly reporting to tax authorities) as well as preparation of financial statements and corporate income tax returns.

You will work with designated clients and participate in the continuous development of our accounting processes and systems.

Your responsibilities can be tailored according to your interests, expertise and prior experience.

Our ideal candidate has

  • an applicable educational background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
  • excellent communication skills in Finnish and English. Other language skills, particularly Swedish, are considered an advantage.
  • good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
  • eagerness to learn new accounting programmes and systems
  • excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently
  • a passion for providing exceptional client service.

You can be either a senior level experienced accounting professional or a junior accountant with a few years of relevant working experience. What matters to us more than the number of your years of experience, is the willingness to learn and develop your skills.
