In your role:
Revenue Recognition and Customer Invoicing team is responsible for correct and timely revenue recognition and customer invoicing processes, manages all accounting activities from system master data to reporting, drive issue resolution and provide expertise in accounting matters. As an Accountant for invoicing you will be participating the new ERP system testing and securing that harmonized processes are in place after ERP implementations in different Valmet units. Also development of the processes will be part of your duties as well as invoicing related daily routines including process validations and active communication with our stakeholders in Business and with other teams in Global Financial Operations. This is temporary position until end of the year 2022 and your location can be in Jyväskylä or Järvenpää.
We are looking for an employee with a good attitude. You have gained experience within financial accounting and reporting in similar industrial company. You have Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and you have good written and verbal communication skills in English. Profiency in Finnish language is seen as an advantage. We assume you have experience with MS Office tools and ERP systems. It would be great if you understand big entities and you are eager to drive change and identify development needs.
