We are now looking for a customer-centric Technical Product Manager to join Helvar Component’s Product Management team in Karkkila!
Helvar Components is a Finnish electrical engineering company with over 100 years of expertise together with Helvar. Helvar Components develops and manufactures high-quality and sustainable LED Drivers, radio nodes and other electronics used in modern LED luminaires.
As a Technical Product Manager , you would be responsible for technical support for Helvar luminaire components. On a daily basis you would be organizing the work of a group of technical specialists and providing the industry’s best technical support to Helvars domestic and international customers. World-class customer satisfaction is at the core of Helvar’s success, and through this, you will have a concrete impact on our daily business. Developing and maintaining the technical support tools and processes would be one of your responsibilities as well. You also get to undertake short trips occasionally both domestically and in Europe to engage in resolving technical queries and ensuring that they are solved in the best professional manner and quality. In addition to technical support, you will also be involved in product management tasks such as technical documentation, product certification and new product specification together with product development. You would be working closely with Helvar’s highly skilled product development team to analyze technical problems and make sure that customers receive the best technical solutions. We hope you have:

Relevant educational background for example M.Sc or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering or Electronics

Previous experience in technical support, technical customer claim handling, and capability to organize the technical support team’s tasks

Competence to manage projects efficiently and solve complex technical problems

Good communication skills for customer interactions and internal collaborations

Have full working proficiency in English
We consider as an asset:

Understanding of lighting technologies and controls

Experience with CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce) and/or product certifications (e.g. CE, ENEC)

Finnish language skills

Practicalities:
This is a permanent full-time position and you’ll be employed directly at Helvar Components. The work happens according to the hybrid model and you can work both at Helvar’s office at Karkkila and remotely. However, due to teamwork, we hope that you will be able to come to the office about three times a week. The specific starting date can be agreed upon but your team is eager to meet you so we hope you can start as soon as possible.
