Location Platform Capability unit is welcoming new members to its energetic and creative team that is developing highly innovative services which are utilizing user location information. User location is resolved by using various novel indoor positioning technologies. User location information on the other hand is enabling large number of new applications from indoor navigation and point-of-interest finding to IT services customized based on user location.
Location Platform team is now looking for a Principal SW Developer who contributes to end-to-end architecture design of Location Platform and more importantly takes key role in development of the platform server back-end SW components. Specifically Principal SW Developer will- Contribute to architecture and system design of the Location Platform - Contribute to technology selections of back-end implementation of Location Platform- Take hands-on responsibility of SW development of platform back-end.
Qualifications To succeed in this position we require:- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent- At least 7+ years of proven track record in software engineering- Excellent understanding of Java EE and related software ecosystem- Extensive development experience with JavaScript or other scripting language- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful web services- Agile development skills- Experience in working with modern software development infrastructure (issue tracking, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment)- Fluent English Additionally, experience with following topics is highly appreciated:- Cloud services, distributed computing, in-memory data grids, key-value stores- Application development (e.g. C#, XAML, C/C++, Qt/QML, etc.)- Internet technologies (e.g. HTML5, XML, CSS, AJAX, Ruby, xHTML, DHTML, JSON etc.)- Indoor positioning technologies- Indoor maps technologies
