The Media Production acts as the Broadcasting and Media area’s competence center. We are building a strong, centralized competence base for Broadcasting and Media into the unit. The main customerships that we serve are Yle, MTV3 and Otava. We produce services, for example, in the areas of TV and Radio production, develop specialized Media area ERP software and participate to new media development projects in mobile and internet technologies.

We are now seeking a Drupal Architect and Service Architect / team lead.

We expect you to be an active person who has an energetic working style. You operate in a flexible and productive way with different people from many locations. You have ability to work in Helsinki metropolitan area. In addition to a suitable IT education you should also be able to communicate fluently both in Finnish and in English language.

We expect you to have:

Excellent PHP5 and Object Oriented Programming skills
Deep knowledge of Drupal both in application and database level
JavaScript, especially jQuery experience
Good knowledge of MySQL
Experience in LAMP stack, shell scripting
Experience in Memcached, Varnish
Understanding of hosting Drupal
Experience of system integration
Agile development process experience, especially Scrum

We appreciate if you have experience and understanding in:

Modelling, i.e UML
Drupal upgrades and content migrations
Zend-products, APC
Common Web API knowledge (i.e Facebook, Twitter, Google, Youtube)
Search technologies, especially SOLR
XML, RSS, REST, MVC
CDN, Cloud services
Domain knowledge (i.e E-commerce, Telecom, WebTV, SoMe)
